White out
In the holiday we went to Mt Ruapehu. We went with my dad's girl friend's family. We did sking the first couple of days and that went well, but on the last 3 days there was a white out.
So our first idea was to make slushy's and to have a snow ball fight, that did not go to well because the snow would not stick so we ate it instead. It was almost powder then we got the idea of tobogganing.
Weeeeeeee, crash, that is the noise of us tobogganing. We did not go very fast though so we went rolling down the hill.
We went back in a terrible blizzard and then that turned in to a white out. What is a white out you ask? It is after a blizzard you can not see anything only white. It is terribly cold and windy. I did find it a bit worrying and scary. The worst part was it lasted for 6 hours and sitting inside the whole time and doing chores. Then on Sunday we went home.
